Catherine & Paul - Holy Trinity Church Cookham & Bisham Abbey 02 July 2011

A scorcher of a day for Catherine & Paul's wedding. With two stunning locations by the river it would have been impossible not to capture the full glory on this special day. I arrived at Catherine’s parents to a very quiet gathering. This can happen and its always great if that’s the case. Soon Catherine was getting put into a most beautiful creation allowing for textbook photography. I arrived at the church with plenty of time but no sign of the groom!! Luckily Paul soon arrived with plenty of guests but not much time as Catherine was on her way. With a convertible the Bride and Father made their dramatic entrance into this grand church for a perfect ceremony. They exited to a fanfare of cheers and soon were covered in confetti!

Bisham Abbey is a glorious twelfth century Abbey, that was once home to Henry VIII Set on the banks of the River Thames and is ideal for wedding photography. I have covered this many times as a photographer and also a Best Man so know some great options. Soon the reception was in full swing with everyone basking in the heat of the day. I can admit I was relieved to make our way into the wedding breakfast to cool down! An added bonus was to be seated with a group of guests who were just brilliant. Complete hecklers throughout the speeches and generally hilarious, they made by day quite superb and added some dimension to a few shots taken! Back outside for some zany images prior to some moves on the dancefloor, a most fulfilling day..
