Caroline & Paul - St Mary's Church and Horsley Park 21 May 2011

Bright, baking hot with a gentle breeze..just another perfect day for a wedding! I had met Paul and Caroline before when I photographed his sister’s wedding a couple of years before. So the brief was pretty straightforward – lots of fun and informal images – perfect.... With a couple of absolutely stunning locations for the day in leafy Surrey I was in great spirits as I made my way to Caroline’s parents. With a houseful of happy bridesmaids ( and bride ) I casually mixed the photographic styles. In addition there were a few friends and family so a great atmosphere. With the church two minutes away I raced over to catch the chaps and guests arriving. It was like a scene from Reservoir Dogs...shades a plenty!

Caroline arrived in an Aston Martin as you do, looking very chilled and full of joy. A beautiful ceremony followed and soon we were outside with confetti and a haze of heat. Onto the stunning Horsley park which is a dramatic venue with turrets and a lake. The reception party started and soon we were all caught up in the joys of a summer style party. Before long the guests sat for the wedding breakfast in an ornate and gracious function room. The fun and games continued and the atmosphere stayed high tempo right through the speeches and onto the evening party...quite a day.
