Louise & James - St Nicholas Church East Challow & Templars Barn Hungerford 25 June 2011

A bright and breezy day for this lovely carefree wedding of Louise and James. A very chilled out couple who were a joy to spend the day with. A beautiful church in picturesque deepest Oxfordshire was the starting point for the day events. In fact Louise arrived early with some guests running to make it in time! At points the bride’s veil was trying to make do as a wind sock as Louise made her way to enter. Fantastic light allowed for some classic ceremony photography. The beaming newlyweds exited to many congratulations and soon we made our way to a spot enroute to the barn for some time out. With big sky, dramatic clouds and a classic roller it made my job a lot easier...

I loved the Templars Barn on a farm in Berkshire. Its amazing the amount of effort put into creating a wedding breakfast, especially considering a tractor had been in the barn a couple of day before ! As the temperature rose the party began to swing plus lovely scones and tea. With glorious sunlight pouring into the barn and a hog roast nearly ready the speeches began. These were not too short or too long but hit the spot. Plenty of zany and buoyant guests allowed for plenty of spontaneous photography as the day progressed! Just a great way to spend a wedding day.

Louise and James' Thoughts
" Thanks for a great day Nigel. It was as if you were one of our guests, so that we hardly knew you were there, and when we did, it was just as if we were having a laugh with one of our friends! Louise xx "
