Danielle & Adam - St Mary's Church & The Monk's Barn Hurley 15 July 2011

What a glorious day was had with Dani and Adam. Beautiful bride, stunning weather and immaculate locations for this special day with a few surprises along the way! I first met the lovely couple two years ago when they booked. After a brief meeting they saw my blog of a wedding at the Monks Barn and snapped me up!

I met Dani at her wonderful cottage for some preparation shots. With incredible light streaming in we captured perfect shots with my 85mm f1.2 lens; its ideal for this style of imagery. Swiftly moving onto the Olde Bell inn for a quick drink with Adam and the chaps who all looked dapper as expected. I arrived at St Mary’s Church with time to spare and it’s a stunner. My first time at the church and ideal for classic wedding ceremony photography. Soon the guests arrived followed by the bridesmaids in a 1970’s Rolls Royce and then the Bride in a 1930’s Beaufort. The cars were supplied by Roses Wedding Cars who are just brilliant both for the product and also great personalities!

A lovely ceremony ensued with an exit to bubbles and confetti. The reception was held at the Monks Barn, a gentle walk away. Its a really great option allowing the couple to create a very personal style. The reception kicked in with the help of a steel band. Soon everyone entered for the wedding breakfast with the barn decorated in a quite stunning effect for the speeches. After a gorgeous buffet and lovely table guests ( I was set with the lively bunch again!) it was outdoors for the surprise...Morris Dancers! They were amazing and managed to persuade some of the wedding party to get involved. Finally the first dance came to be serenaded by a quite superb singer and band.
