I caught up with Mel in the Malthouse as she was about ready to get married and I was completely bowled over by the glam 50’s wedding dress and Jimmy Choo’s – very, very chic...
Nic was mingling with the guests in the bar and we soon made our way over to the Drawing Room where the Malthouse wedding ceremony was to take place. With a small, intimate wedding planned I soon became familiar with everyone. Bride and Groom came in together and a lovely ceremony followed. With beautiful natural light falling on the couple many classic shots were captured. Then onto the magical mystery tour..
Over to the Long Walk in Windsor on a London Double Decker! The newlyweds had first dated here and want to revisit on their special day so we call jump onboard and enjoyed the experience. Brilliant fun and so carefree allowing for freestyle photography. Once back everyone had a glass or two of warmed cider and onto the wedding breakfast with some interesting carvers! The speeches were an absolute joy to hear and photograph. The last surprise was the dancing as Mel and Nic has practised some slick moves and enthralled their crowd with some “Strictly “ footsteps.. A very lovely day.
