My first wedding of 2011 was an absolute cracker, especially as Diana and Andrew had travelled halfway around the world from Singapore! The gods were shining on us with a beautiful sunny day at one of my most visited wedding venues. Notley Abbey is a stunning location so really comes into its own with perfect conditions. I arrived with plenty of time to capture the outdoor splendour. Both Bride and Groom were completely going with the flow and I managed to capture some great preparation shots. Finally it was time to meet Diana and she appeared in her finest glory and made the walk downstairs to the ceremony. Its impossible not to capture so many beautiful images of the ceremony here with ideal natural light flooding through the large windows.
The newlyweds exited and soon the reception was in full swing. Many of the guests ventured outdoors to enjoy the warm sunshine. I grabbed Mr and Mrs and we headed up to the venue entrance in my car. We only spent 10 – 15 minutes here but captured some classic moments. Time to squeeze in the group shots before heading into the wedding breakfast. Plenty of fun and laughter ensued with some witty moments for the speeches. The atmosphere remained vibrant throughout the early evening and accelerated for the fist dance and the party...
Diana & Andrew's Thoughts
The pictures are beautiful and I really would like to thank you again for your support on the day. Many of our guest commented to say what a fabulous photographer you had been and how you managed to stay connected to the day, enthusiastic and bubbly yet not intrusive. We will have no hesitation to recommend you!
