Lucy & Ian - Hurley Church & The Olde Bell Hurley 04 September

What a way to start for Lucy and Ian’s big day...it was absolutely bucketing down and planned to stay that way for the duration!! Luckily Lucy and Ian were both in a super mood when I met them at the Olde Bell in Hurley. Its a lovely former coaching inn with two exquisite wedding venues so ideal for wedding photography. The plan had been for a clear blue sky and the Bride would walk with her father down to the Church near the river. Its not that far but with torrential rain a potential problem. As we all watched and waited, with minutes to spare it cleared and a stunning walk followed with an equally dramatic entrance for the ceremony.

We were all so delighted that the sun was out the newlyweds exited to big congatulations and a ton of confetti. Soon the whole wedding party made a slow walk back to The Malthouse for the wedding reception. A great afternoon in this perfect venue for an smaller, informal wedding with so plenty of opportunity for candid and fun images. The cuisine is always first class too. Some hilarious speech moments prior to my departure with a big smile!
