A quite brilliant day with Katie and Daniel in London Town for their special day. Plenty of sunshine to start the day, nervous anticipation for the bridal preparation with Katie and family but an immense feel good factor in the air. With both the Groom and the father of the Bride having a background as London bus drivers I was delighted to be getting a lift to the church on a Routemaster Double Decker so very excited! It was a very short trip to the church but the images captured had a strong photojournalistic feel. With a beautiful Bride arriving into an amazing church it was perfect to capture the ceremony plus I was given access to cover many angles including the gallery above. The newlyweds exited to roars of delight and confetti and a return journey to the reception venue.
The Brewers Inn worked perfectly for this intimate and informal wedding. With a superb function room the atmosphere was set for a laid back, fun afternoon. It was like attending a friend’s wedding and I was seated for the wedding breakfast with some really great chaps! With great natural light it made for many candid images of the events. Soon it was time for the evening party to start so Katie and Daniel hit the floor. The biggest surprise was Father and Bride dancing to the Chuck Berry Song from Pulp Fiction as performed by John Travolta and Uma Thurman with all the moves .. Pure class!
