An absorbing day with Sophie and Graham at the most stunning Notley Abbey. Its a venue I have frequented on a number of occasions especially in Autumn and Winter and this seems to bring out the more dramatic moments. Such a great couple to be around and its was light hearted from the start. Sophie and the girls were in high spirits in the Abbots Suite with plenty of activity. Graham and the boys were in the cottages, perhaps a little more low key! Soon it was nearly time for the ceremony and I raced upstairs to capture the beaming bride and her proud father making their way and then a gracious entrance. Its such a beautiful setting with perfect natural light falling on the couple. The newlyweds exited to an abundance of confetti and the ceremony was in full flow.
We managed to slip away and race up the tree lined road that runs for ever. With the Autumn splendour showing its true glory it was the right time for some magical private moments. Back at the Abbey it was time for a few family portraits prior to making our way into the wedding breakfast. The scene was set for fabulous cuisine, plenty of party atmosphere, great speeches and raucous laughter. To top it all off Graham had arranged for a surprise fireworks display that was just amazing! Enough time to squeeze in a few dancefloor moves before I headed off...
