Charlotte & Adam - St. Francis of Assisi High Wycombe & Missenden Abbey Great Missenden 29 August 2010

A big day with Adam and Charlotte was an understatement! From the moment I arrived to meet the chaps the tone was set. A very funny group that just made me laugh all day and allowed for some crazy moments. Still there were also plenty of beautiful, classic elements to the day captured. Charlotte and the girls looked quite amazing and combined with the wedding cars allowed for a spectacular arrival at the church. Even with black clouds and spitting rain this did not detract and in fact added a really dynamic quality to the images. After a lovely ceremony the newlyweds exited to brilliant, warm sunshine. With the elation and confetti this made for quite a spectacle.

Onto the reception at Missenden Abbey, my first time here at this wedding venue. With a 12th century abbey and 10 acres of grounds this is quite a place. Plenty of time outside with the guests and lots of audience participation for the formal shots. I managed to climb up a branch of their famous giant tree to get the best shots! All the guests headed into the breakfast so allowing Charlotte and Adam a breather. I gave them space and discreetly captured some lovely moments. With a lively crowd the day accelerated after some great speeches. Plenty of dancing and Chinese lanterns to end the day!!

Charlotte and Adam’s Thoughts
“We love the photos! They are absolutely stunning. We want to say a huge thank you for being our photographer on our wedding day. You blended in amazingly and it was only after looking back through guests photos & videos did we realise that you were actually there taking photos! We have had a lot of guests who have been very impressed with you and your style of photography and have asked for your contact details so hopefully you will get even more work! We really hope you had a fun day with us too”
