Alix & Rob - Notley Abbey 16 October 2009
My first wedding at Notley Abbey and what a stunning venue. This Grade 1 listed venue dates back to the 12th century. With Autumn staying surprisingly mild and dry this was a brilliant wedding. Alix and Rob decided on a black tie wedding that really worked well with the impressive surroundings. The ceremony took place in the Abbot's Hall and had wonderful light so allowing for many ideal, natural images. We decided to jump into my car and do some private shots at the entrance into the grounds. These worked to maximum effect especially with the couples son, Taylor posing nicely! The day continued with the wedding breakfast and evening in the stone barn, originally the Monks’ Refectory. Again an amazing venue allowing for great images.
Alix and Rob's Thoughts
" Well what can I say they are fantastic, so happy with them! Thank you so much for your hard work Nigel, we had loads of people mention to us how good you were with your style of photography and they haven't even seen the pictures yet. Thanks again! "
