Catherine & Paul - Holy Trinity Church Cookham & Bisham Abbey 02 July 2011

A scorcher of a day for Catherine & Paul's wedding. With two stunning locations by the river it would have been impossible not to capture the full glory on this special day. I arrived at Catherine’s parents to a very quiet gathering. This can happen and its always great if that’s the case. Soon Catherine was getting put into a most beautiful creation allowing for textbook photography. I arrived at the church with plenty of time but no sign of the groom!! Luckily Paul soon arrived with plenty of guests but not much time as Catherine was on her way. With a convertible the Bride and Father made their dramatic entrance into this grand church for a perfect ceremony. They exited to a fanfare of cheers and soon were covered in confetti!

Bisham Abbey is a glorious twelfth century Abbey, that was once home to Henry VIII Set on the banks of the River Thames and is ideal for wedding photography. I have covered this many times as a photographer and also a Best Man so know some great options. Soon the reception was in full swing with everyone basking in the heat of the day. I can admit I was relieved to make our way into the wedding breakfast to cool down! An added bonus was to be seated with a group of guests who were just brilliant. Complete hecklers throughout the speeches and generally hilarious, they made by day quite superb and added some dimension to a few shots taken! Back outside for some zany images prior to some moves on the dancefloor, a most fulfilling day..

Anne & Gary - Fallowfields Country Hotel Oxfordshire 30 June 2011

Had a great fun day with Anne and Gary on their special day. With a brilliant blue sky and warm weather I made my way to Fallowfields Country Hotel in Oxfordshire. Its a lovely setting for informal relaxed wedding photography due to so many options for dynamic images. Anne was so laid back when I arrived it is was unbelievable! With plenty of time for the bridal preparations it made my job simple. The guests and family soon arrived and were greeted by Gary. Soon made my way upstairs to meet the Bride and Father. I could sense the change in atmosphere with the ensuing ceremony and Anne gracefully made here way to the ceremony and made a stunning entrance. Perfect lighting added to the setting.

The newlyweds exited to plenty of cheer and were soon congratulated in the grounds. With perfect summer weather we all enjoyed the reception and some fun images. A beautiful wedding breakfast followed with some super speeches. The Bride and Groom disappeared in to the ground so we could capture atmospheric moments. Then it was time to get the party started with an amazing first dance incorporating some serious dance moves!
