Heather & Tom - Compleat Angler, Bisham Church, Marlow Rugby Club 14 August 2010

What do you do on a wet summer’s day for a wedding? Nobody wants their special day to be like this but I guess it depends on how you approach it. Heather and Tom were in fine spirits and we just had an amazing day with some dramatic shots in the rain!! So hard to predict when its going to pour but we had some luck, especially as the bride to be arrived by boat from the Compleat Angler Hotel  at the church! Poured throughout the ceremony and stopped just after...phew. The newlyweds took the boat back to the Compleat Angler as I had arranged to meet them and get some alternative shots on Marlow Bridge. Suddenly it was like a tropical downpour but Heather and Tom wanted to try this with umbrellas so off we went. The weather has pretty much cleared the traffic but the few cars waiting to cross kindly waited for us to get some amazing images (with a few car hoots and cheers !). Bride and Groom stayed dry..and as for me, absolutely soaked but worth every second!

Yvonne & Owen - Richmond Hill Hotel 13 August 2010

Sunshine and showers for Yvonne and Owen’s wedding. Luckily they were not superstitious about Friday the 13th!!We had a great day at the Richmond Hill Hotel, a venue I have covered many times. This lovely Georgian Hotel is a superb setting for a London wedding and has stunning views of the Thames from the terrace. The day flowed beautifully with a relaxed and happy atmosphere throughout.

Helen & Chris - The Olde Bell Hurley 08 August 2010

Another beautiful summer’s day for a wedding. Helen and Chris opted for one of my favourite venues for their day.The Olde Bell is a charming former coaching inn with a variety of ceremony options, this time the Tithe Barn was used.After a lovely ceremony the newlyweds decided to “disappear” to Henley for a bit ! Luckily I got to share the journey and we achieved some great locations shots before joining the party.
