Jennifer & David - Loseley House, Loseley Park, Guildford 03 July 2010

Cornflower blue skies, fluffy white clouds, hot days...sound familiar? Yes its another scorching summer 2010 wedding!! Jennifer and David had an amazing day in the salubrious surroundings of Loseley Park near Guildford. The reception took place in the stunning Great Hall located in Loseley House, a 16th Century Elizabethan House. Its one of the most remarkable venues for a civil ceremony I have yet to cover. The fun and games began with the reception in the award winning walled gardens. As you can imagine hot weather and bubbly create some brilliant images!! The wedding breakfast took place in the lovely 17th Century Tithe Barn...quite a day.

Berks & Bucks Wedding Magazine - Wedding Of The Year Round 1 Winner & Real Wedding Feature

I was really pleased recently to have two weddings featured in the June / July edition of Berks and Bucks Wedding Magazine http://www.yourberksbuckswedding.com

Firstly Hannah and Rick’s brilliant September wedding was given a showcase over four pages with the images below.  Perfect weather for the ceremony at St Mary’s Church Hambleden then onto the local pub; the Stag and Huntsman. Lastly onto a boat for the Thames cruise with a jukebox for the entertainment!!

The second feature was the beautiful winter wedding of Rachel and Ian put forward for the wedding of the year competition. The first round had strong entries from some brilliant photographers but the reader voted this wedding the winner so quite amazing news. A classic chilly day in February but plenty of joy and high spirits. The Ceremony took place at St Peter’s Church Burnham with the reception at the nearby Tudor Barn.

Gaby & Simon - Stoke Park, Stoke Poges 20 June 2010

I cannot quite believe the amount of glorious sunny weddings this year! Gaby and Simon’s day took place at the amazing Stoke Park. This beautiful location provides an elegant and luxurious setting for any wedding  and has featured in films including Bridget Jone and James Bond. Both bride and groom definitely matched the venue looking superbl and managed to stay as cool as a cucumber all day!! The ceremony was a joy to photograph with a grandiose setting and perfect lighting. We all exited and headed outdoors for pimms and champers plus the sound of a steel band – quite a heady mix...... The reception and formal shots were quite honestly so informal – a brilliant wedding experience bathed in warm sunshine.

Gaby & Simon’s Thoughts
Nigel I love them!!! You've perfectly captured the essence of the whole day and you did it with such a lovely manner.  Lots of people said how nice it was to have such an approachable photographer who put everyone at their ease in such a relaxed way.   I gave you a brief of how we wanted the day to go, you totally got it and delivered in spectacular style with some quite amazing shots. Thank you!
