Cait & Jamie - Stoke Place 02 May 2010

Cait and Jamie's big day started with a huge downpour but all became dry when I arrived at Stoke Place. Its one of my favourite venues as I have covered events and weddings here before. Its a wonderful and elegant boutique hotel that is a former 17th century mansion with beautiful grounds. Cait and the bridesmaids were in fine spirits and really enjoying themselves in the Gloucester suite. Jamie and the chaps were looking good downstairs to greet the guests. With Cait looking splendid a lovely ceremony followed in the delightful Vyse room. With limited dry weather we opted to head outdoors for some formal shot and confetti! I persuaded Cait to change the designer shoes for the in house wellies and we headed down to the lake for some beautiful private moments...

Claire & Stuart - The Grove Hertfordshire 01 May 2010

Claire and Stuart decided on a small intimate wedding and found the perfect venue in The Grove. Its a venue I really enjoy covering due to the vast array of photo opportunities. This Grade II listed 18th century Mansion combines classic design with antique and contemporary touches. Added to this are beautiful formal gardens providing a glamorous wedding venue setting. The Donneraile and Garden Rooms adjoin each other and are perfect for intimate wedding ceremonies and receptions. With great light and a warm day it was a lovely ceremony and great to spend plenty of time outdoors!
