Annette & Keith's Wedding Day, St Paul’s Church & Trailfinders Rugby Club, 02 May 2009

A lovely spring day for the special day. With a large attendance expected at St Paul’s Church for this modern Christian wedding there was much anticipation for the bridal preparation, especially amongst Annette and the bridesmaids!! This allowed for great images.

The church is huge and was in full flow upon arrival with guests. Keith was upbeat and many great reportage shots were taken.

Annette arrived looking elegant in the Rolls and onto a memorable service. After the congratulations and formal shots the Bride and Groom departed for Walpole Park for some private shots. I have to say this was brilliant with plenty of sunshine and the canopies of the trees. They was even had time to stop for an ice cream!! Onto Trailfinders Rugby Club for the reception to round off a great day.

Jo & Dermot's Wedding Day, Stoke Place, 01 May 2009

What can I say about Jo and Dermot’s wedding? Great weather in a fabulous venue with lots and lots of lively Irish making for a very colourful day! Added to this the couple are massive Rock music fans with this as their theme for the day!!

Plenty of fun and laughter doing the preparation shots at their home in Burnham then onto Stoke Place. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel with extensive grounds. I have photographed a charity event here for the “ Make A Wish Foundation” so knew the venue well. The ceremony room caters well for a large groom. Dermot was looking dapper as this extended family arrived.

The great atmosphere continued through the ceremony (with a glass of Guinness or two) and afterwards for the reception taken outside on another sunny day. When the rain did finally come this was long after wedding breakfast and speeches. I had just finished some private shots of the new Mr & Mrs, so with great evening light we made use of the venue for these.

Odette & Peter's Wedding Day, The Olde Bell Hurley, 25 April 2009

Another sunny and warm April wedding! I met Odette at her beautiful cottage for some bridal preparation shots and everyone was in good spirits, perhaps that was the bubbly?! Then a short journey to the Olde Bell in Hurley. It’s a venue I have good experience of with many clients married here. Also its ideal for smaller weddings. Peter was already in the gardens greeting friends and family and looking the part.

The Tithe Barn is ideal for a ceremony with its recent renovation with lovely natural light falling on the Bride & Groom. After the confetti and congratulations we dashed down to the river for some relaxed private shots on the bridge…lovely.

The weather remained good all day so a boisterous reception including the formal and group shots. The evening part was held in the Malthouse so a great end to an ideal day…

April and May have been extremely busy so it great to finally update the blog with some recent weddings. With a sunny day Karen and Phil’s wedding at Hall Place, Burchetts Green was magnificent. Making use of the grounds and architecture allowed for some creative images.

Karen was getting ready at the Compleat Angler Marlow so some lovely shots and very relaxed in the morning. I have to say for a guy not keen on photographs being taken Phil was at ease all day and forgot all about me!! Plenty of fun and laughter all day.
